Sedona The Escapee

Every now and then we get a dog in that is an escape artist. Most often, they break out of their kennel and end up right at our casita where we start our day and store our food.

A few weeks ago on a Tuesday, Kevin, a volunteer, who had been feeding three dogs in Chapala at his home brought us three amazing dogs; Buck, Pepper, and Sedona. Buck needed some surgery and was in the vet’s office. Pepper and Sedona were together.

The next day, Wednesday, was my day to work. We got our day started and noticed that Pepper was in the front by the casita; she had escaped. Sedona was nowhere to be found. While we searched the property, Syd called to report that Kevin had just contacted her to say that Sedona was outside his home again.

Sedona escaped and made her way back to Chapala where she felt more comfortable! We recovered her and she is now safe in a kennel! Dogs truly are amazing creatures!
