Dan Keith has done so much for our large dogs! He spends his time working to give these large beauties the manners they need to be happily adopted.

We like the large dogs at The Ranch. Sometimes they can be a challenge for us when it comes to exercising them. Our volunteers can struggle to walk them if they jump or pull excessively. This is where Dan comes in. He will come early or late and spend
one-on-one time with the giants and teach them to walk on a leash, sit and stay.

His quiet and calm demeanor works absolute magic with them. Recently, he worked with Natalia, who has gone on to be trained to be a Service dog. He also worked with a Dane mix that won that dog a trip to Oregon to be adopted.

We all love Dan and look forward to seeing him when he and his Ranch alum, Tyla, come to work with the dogs. This week, Dan and his wife have moved to Texas. We will all miss him greatly. His warm smile calm nature and true love of dogs has made him such an asset to The Ranch.
