Dog of the Month

Ocho is a most deserving dog, but is one of those who tends to be overlooked because he's such a proper gentleman in the kennel. He doesn't clamor for attention, though he enjoys it just as much as the next guy! He simply waits patiently for his turn to love on you. A real sweetheart, Ocho has a glossy black coat with striking white and brindle markings and adorably quirky ears framing his sweet, gentle face. He's on the slender side of large, being leggy but not taking up much space.

Ocho is simply a crowd favorite at The Ranch ... when a recommendation for a nice, gentle, happy dog comes up for an event or a potential adopter, his name is mentioned, and then repeated: "How about Ocho? Yes, Ocho would be perfect!" And yet, this wonderful boy remains at The Ranch. He might not always be at the forefront of people's minds, but everyone knows him, and he has certainly captured many hearts.

Ocho came to us as a puppy with two siblings, who were both adopted as youngsters. It's so hard to be the one left behind! Ocho would love to complete the circle of his family success and become someone's forever furry friend.
