It’s a Small World
by Syd Sullins
Rescue is a small world and pets draw everyone together, so I guess I'm not surprised when our former Ranch pups intersect in their new lives. That's what happened with Vinnie and Mavis.
These two little litter mates came to us in June and were adorable, curious little puppies. We knew immediately they'd grow to be great dogs and so did the rescues we work with in the United States. Both these darlings were quickly claimed by Ginger's Pet Rescue in Seattle and they flew up in August. And as expected, both were adopted within days.
Fast forward to last week. A woman in Seattle stopped by her co-workers desk to discuss something. She noticed a framed photo of a dog on the desk and she was amazed how much it looked like her dog. They started talking about the history of their dogs and they both quickly realized that they had both been adopted from Ginger's and that they were both from Mexico. A little more investigation, and they realized they were litter mates.
It seemed only right to arrange a joint play day for these two pups....and give them the opportunity for a reunion.
