Gringo a Great Companion
by John Habermeyer
A few weeks ago, one of the members of our church announced that The Ranch was overcrowded and they were looking for people to either adopt or at least foster a dog. Having lost my wife seven years ago, I decided that I needed company and a dog would be a perfect companion.
I live eight months of the year at Lakeside, and the rest of the time at my beach condo in Mazatlán. I decided fostering a dog was a good way to go. Soon I met Gringo, who I adopted and renamed Blacky. Now, I cannot live without him. I took him with me to the beach, and he has turned out to be a great companion.
