Dog of the Month

Everyone loves Manny! All the volunteers, staff and visitors to The Ranch. He’s a perfect size at about 30 pounds and happy and cheerful. He gets along well with other dogs. He sure loves to have someone stop by his run. It gets even better if that someone happens to have a leash and he knows he’s going to go out for an adventure. He’s two-years old, so still playful but over the worst of the puppy years.

So why is Manny still at The Ranch? He arrived in February and we thought this beautiful guy would quickly find a home. But that hasn’t happen. The only reason we can think of is that he's just a plain brown dog. He’s not ugly of course, but there is nothing unique about his looks. But really, doesn’t that describe most of us? We think it's time Manny is in a home of his own where he'll receive tons of love and can prove that he is special.
