Volunteer of the Month

Lynn Rattray has been volunteering with us for just over a year. We were so happy to have her join us after she moved Lakeside from California. Lynn is a very active person and she doesn’t shy away from walking the bigger dogs. She also has a back ground in landscaping and I often see her pruning trees, filling the truck up with debris and generally just finding work to do. She also is creative and often comes up with suggestions and ideas for us to consider.

Twice Lynn has been a flight angel for us which we truly appreciate! At times, she’ll just take a dog home with her for a few days to give the dog a chance to be in a stress free environment. This is also very useful as it gives us an opportunity to evaluate how the dog does in a home setting.
