Julie Wittmann

Julie is a very warmhearted, busy, and dedicated person. She has her finger on the pulse of many different organizations, yet she still finds time be an integral part of The Ranch. Julie started her charitable work by founding the Pet Food Bank Lakeside, which, in conjunction with FoodBank Lakeside, supplies pet food to local folks who can't afford to buy food for their beloved furries. Through the Pet Food Bank, she has implemented an educational program to teach local kids about pet care and humane treatment of animals, including spay/neuter programs. Essentially, where there is a need, Julie will find a way.

Julie is a miracle worker, tirelessly collaborating with north-of-the-border rescues to find Ranch dogs permanent homes. She willingly handles the mounds of paperwork (often with very little notice), expertly preparing everything in her detail-oriented way so there are no issues at the airport or the border. Julie also graciously fills in at The Ranch when other leaders are away, handling things like staff payroll and dog food orders. And she wields behind-the-scenes "stealth" generosity, such as providing water bottles for staff and donating bags of dog food – little things that nobody thinks about, but are so important.

We are so very grateful that our friend, Julie, has chosen The Ranch as one of the benefactors of her talents.
