Volunteer of the Month

This month we’re featuring our volunteer Henry Byrum. He is a regular on Saturdays when he comes to walk dogs. Every dog he walks get some private Henry time.

When Henry and his wife, Bev, moved to the area about three years ago, they both came to The Ranch to visit. Bev made it very clear that Henry would be the volunteer and also stated he wasn’t to bring dogs home. Well, we all know how that goes. Henry has since adopted two of our beautiful Ranch dogs and I believe Bev loves them as much as Henry does.

Henry is a retired physician and I can easily imagine him caring for his patients. If the tenderness he shows to our Ranch dogs is any indication, I am certain his patients adored and trusted him.
