Clicker Pets Lends a Hand

Lake Chapala is full of amazing and talented people. Lucky for us some volunteer at The Ranch. As a result, we are so much the better for it.

For example, we have Jim Boles. Jim is a hiker extraordinaire who comes out on Wednesdays and walks our big dogs. We have Christina Bennett, a wonderful writer, who writes articles and bios on our behalf. We also have our amazing Syd, who is good at, well, almost everything.

We also have gotten to know Jena Olio of Clicker Pets. It all started when our Oso lost his ride to his adoptive home in Portland because he refused to get in a crate. Out of desperation, I called Jena to see if we could get him a second chance. She very enthusiastically said this task would be easy. Well, it was for her! Soon Oso flew up north to his happy home. After that, she agreed to help some of our nervous dogs to become more social. She has been amazing.

Every single time we call, she happily agrees to help. She has also helped our adopters and their new dogs adapt to their new life. She always tells me that she loves The Ranch and what we do. She is a good part of our success.
