Change is Inevitable

At The Ranch this past October, we were all sorry to lose Carolyn Cothran. She decided to resign from her position as co-manager of The Ranch. Carolyn has been with us six years and The Ranch has only benefitted from her enthusiasm, passion for animals and creativity. But change is inevitable.

I am excited to announce that Corrine Kelly and Dale Green have become part of our leadership team and board members.

Corrine has volunteering at The Ranch for approximately 12 years. From the get go, I was impressed by her ability to recognize when something was off with a dog. She is a tremendos help communicating with the staff as she is fluent in Spanish.

Dale has only been in the Chapala area for about a year. She is energetic and has such a huge heart. She has been doing the dog bios that appear on The Ranch website. She never writes a bio without spending time with a dog so she can provide an accurate assessment of their personality.

I have so enjoyed working with these two amazing women for the past couple of months. They’re easy to talk with and they’re open to sharing their thoughts regarding our operation. I believe that this is an exciting new phase for The Ranch with a leadership team that’s committed to working together.
